Hire me as your DIT

A clear image.
A calm set.

I’m David Laposi, a Budapest-based DIT working on international features, television, and commercials. I support the cinematographer’s image decisions and keep camera, data, and post connected.

Before the first shooting day

I help define the workflow around the actual production: cameras and recording formats, show LUTs, monitoring, estimated data volume, storage, dailies, and delivery.

Beside the cinematographer

I support exposure and look decisions, maintain a calibrated viewing environment, and help cameras work together. Camera control and technical troubleshooting are part of the role when the setup allows them.

Data, dailies, and the handoff

Camera media is offloaded with verification and handled according to the production’s agreed backup policy. Copies, reports, and delivery responsibilities are established before media is cleared.

Glass Onion / Greece and Serbia

Data management on Glass Onion meant working across Greece and Serbia for approximately 60 shooting days. A clear handoff connected the camera material with the next stage of production.

The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent / Seven cameras

As array camera DIT and substitute DIT supervisor, I worked with seven Alexa Mini cameras mounted on a high-speed stabilised camera car. Multiple viewpoints had to become one dependable image workflow.

The Good Ship Murder / A moving production

Season two took me through eight countries over 65 shooting days; season three continued across six countries over 64 days. Keeping the workflow clear mattered while the locations kept changing.
