David & AI

Stay curious.
Make it useful.

I bring a filmmaker’s eye to AI and automation. From transcription and metadata to conform workflows and generative video, I look for useful ways to connect creative work with better tools.

AI IN PRACTICE

Start with a real task.

01Audio → text

Find the words in the footage.

Transcription turns recorded speech into searchable text: a useful starting point for notes, editorial preparation, and finding a particular moment.

02Media → context

Keep the information with the image.

Metadata ingest and organisation help carry the information around a shot into post-production. Automation is useful when the material needs a consistent structure.

03Repetition → workflow

Give repetitive steps a better route.

I automate parts of the conform and build assistant and bot workflows around repeatable tasks. ChatGPT and connected tools help prepare, organise, and check the work.

04Idea → exploration

See where an idea could lead.

Generative images, video generation, and virtual reality are also part of my practice. I explore them as ways to develop a visual direction and try out creative possibilities.

Consulting. Conversations. New perspectives.

I have provided AI consulting to Hungarian startups and companies, and given talks on the subject. These conversations start with the actual task: where AI can help, how it fits the team’s work, and what still needs human judgement.

ChatGPT is part of the toolkit.

I use ChatGPT extensively, alongside bots, DOTS, ComfyUI, and other AI and automation tools. I choose the tools around the problem, whether it calls for a conversation, a repeatable process, or a visual experiment.

The final judgement stays human.

My experience in editing, color grading, and on set is the reference point. A generated image must fit the film; a transcript must be checked; an automated conform still needs a reliable review. The point is to make more room for decisions that matter.
