PERSONAL TRAINING / A SHARED PROCESS

Built around your next step.

  1. Bring the work

Tell me what you make and where you get stuck. A project, a reference or a question gives us a useful starting point.

  2. Find the reason

We slow down the decisions that matter. Organise the project, read the image, compare alternatives and discuss the result.

  3. Make it your process

Connect the tools to a workflow you understand. The next step is chosen around your progress and the work ahead.

THE CURRICULUM

The things we work through.

Open a topic to see what we explore.

Editing / Make the project easier to handle

Media organization, metadata, Smart Bins, proxies, timelines, trimming, sync and multicam.

Titles, captions, reframing, offline media, sound handoff and export. We focus on the parts your work actually needs.

Color / Understand your next move

Exposure, contrast, color management, references, shot matching and a node structure you can follow.

Curves, keys, windows, tracking and version comparison. Discuss what each adjustment changes in the image.

Workflow / Bring the whole process together

Move between editing and color with a checked reference, accurate metadata and a clear handoff.

Client review, versions, communication and the practical decisions around finishing your own project.

Before you join.

Do I need a finished project?

No. Start with a description of your work and the decisions you find difficult. If you have suitable footage or a project you may share, we can use it to make the discussion more concrete.

How long is a personal program?

Programs typically run from 9 to 24 hours, starting with at least three three-hour sessions. We agree the focus, format and schedule before starting.

Can we work remotely, and what does it cost?

Sessions can be held in the Budapest studio or live online. Personal training is quoted individually around the agreed scope. Send your background, goals and preferred format for a tailored offer.

Start where you actually are

We begin with your experience, current workflow and the problems you want to solve. A first conversation helps us decide which subjects deserve the most time.

The program can follow your own project or a set of focused questions. Bring references and suitable footage where available; only share material you have permission to use.

Experience from the classroom and the grading room

I hold BA and MA film degrees and have taught in English at Budapest Metropolitan University. My work also includes training for restoration professionals and more than 300 workshop participants.

I want the tools to make sense in the work you do. That includes how you organise a project, discuss an image and respond to feedback.

Budapest. Connected to wherever you are.
