Rates & project scope

Good work starts
with a clear scope.

I quote around the material, the creative work, and the deliverables. The published rates below are a starting point for that conversation.

What a project can include

Preparation can cover media transfer, conform, look development, and show LUTs. The finishing scope may include the grade, HDR and SDR versions, quality control, masters, editorial exports, and agreed archiving.

Additional cutdowns, new shots, platform versions, and changes after approval affect the scope. We agree those changes before the extra work begins.

A useful brief

Send the running time, a viewing link, camera formats, picture-lock status, number of versions, final formats, deadline, and your creative references. Mention whether you need studio or remote sessions.

DIT services, equipment packages, travel, specialist monitoring, and studio rental are quoted around the production. Tax treatment and final terms are confirmed in the written quote.

Preparation keeps the grade focused

A locked edit, accurate metadata, a checked interchange file, and a clear reference reduce avoidable conform work. Consolidated feedback and a planned version list help too.

For a flattened handoff or a family of cutdowns, talk to me before exporting. A small decision in preparation can save a substantial amount of finishing time.
